MAMMA MIA 2 ... MOVIE NIGHT AND FLASH MOB
On Friday 20 July 2018, we held the first ever NSD Night at the Flicks to see "Mamma Mia 2 ... Here We Go Again".
This was a fun mid-winter event to celebrate the guilty pleasures that are ABBA, flash mobs, dress ups, food/drink and musicals set on imaginary Greek Islands.
The evening involved some delicious nibbles, a bit of dutch courage (bubbles), dancing (an ABBA flash mob ... 95 women dancing and singing their hearts out), and a private viewing of the movie Mamma Mia 2. Below is the photo and video evidence from the night :).

On 26 November 2017 "Saturday Night Fever - The Stage Show" came to Wellington. A group of about 40 NSD regulars went to the show. For a bit of extra fun, a group of NSDivas met up beforehand for a wee drink (dutch courage), and a Flash Mob on Wellington's waterfront. The video above is a few snippets from that evening - don't forget to turn the volume up extra loud :). It was great fun, so watch out Wellington, I think we will be doing more of this kind of thing in the future :).

BOOGIE BOTS COME TO CLASS ...
Recently we had a visit from Mark and Jack from BOOGIE BOTS . At Boogie Bots, they teach Hip Hop classes for kids, and they are fantastic. My kids go to their classes, and they love them. It is especially good for boys to see young guys who have a real passion for dancing, and are great teachers too. Check out the video below ... we loved having them along.

Check out all the Launch Class Photos taken by the very talented Olie Body.
With the launch of Never Stop Dancing, I can provide you guys with a lot more freedom, variety and flexibility. So you can expect more current pop songs, disco, 80s, 90s, country, hip hop, bollywood, latin, electronic and more
... songs that are great to dance to.
Why "Never Stop Dancing" you ask?
> Fantastic music and fun dance moves are at the heart of my classes ... it's what makes us smile and keeps us going ... so it's the dancing that I want to emphasise. But remember: you'll also sweat A LOT in my classes ... so the fitness, health, strength and wellbeing benefits just happen ... like magic :)
> I want everyone to be able to fit dancing and fitness into their busy lives - so Never Stop Dancing is designed so you can come along to a class when it suits you ... dance your socks off to music you love ... experience lots of dance/music styles ... and leave feeling fit and fantastic. There is no need to have danced before … no need to join, or sign up to a block of classes … and no boring treadmills.
> And finally, great dancing to great music - with a bit of wiggle and giggle thrown in - is something that brings people joy. I hope to never stop dancing until I fall over or I'm dragged off the dance floor ... what about you??
